Campbell's Soup. Worst soup ever
So tonight, with nothing left in my fridge I ate a bowl of Campbell’s Mushroom Soup. What a can of crap. Condensed? Are you kidding me? Why? WWII ended. No need to condense, save, ration anymore. The best part about the soup was the bread that I stuffed into the bowl. Actually, for dinner tonight I had ‘soup soaked bread.’ that even sounds better than Campbell’s soup....

Elbows and Fighting
Yesterday I hit my elbow when i was doing the laundry. I must have missed my funny bone because it was neither funny nor tingly. It just made a dull thud. Before everyone showers me with sympathy a confession needs to be made. I was moving at an incredibly slow speed when it happened and it was more of a elbow bump than a ‘hit.’

Rubik's Cube
So my class of 6th graders have been on a Rubiks cube craze the past three weeks. Half of the class has their head down during the lesson and all I hear is a constant clicking as they shift the pieces. And it is not like the don’t solve it every once in a while, but every minute or so. They race their friends and have little competitions. The champ solved one in 26 seconds on Friday....

Well I found a site that will consume my night.
WatchI have talked about ‘The Takeaway shows’ before and how I think it represents a return to the original intentions of music. A purist rebuke of the modern day arena shows. This latest one is great. Seasick Steve just made my top ten list of ‘guys with beards who play amazing slide in Paris’. Yeah it is a short list. But still Steve is on it.

I friend of mine turned me onto this band. Now some years later, my dad is religiously following their tour schedule and has gone to 4 different shows and shook hands with the band. Check’ em out if you haven’t heard of them. Better yet, go to a show and if you find an odd middle aged man getting down to their music say hello to Mr. Matthews.

I just took a sleeping pill. I can’t wait to see what happens tonight. More drunk orange picking? Maybe kick a puppy or two? Not sure but I am excited.
